Tirupur: Education district officer Chithra on Thursday inspected the Perumanallur Government Girls Higher Secondary School after folks complained that steps weren't taken to supply good enough noon meal to the scholars.
The faculty development, on the Perumanallur-Tirupur Road, used to be abandoned for greater than 15 years. It used to be renovated with the reinforce of native citizens in December. As many as 254 ladies, between elegance VI and XII, have been transferred from the Perumanallur Government Higher Secondary School on Kakkampalayam Road and have been enrolled within the newly-started faculty.
Though greater than 150 scholars had registered for the noon meal scheme, the authorities provide inadequate food, which used to be sufficient only for 40 scholars, the oldsters alleged. “Food is cooked and brought from the Perumanallur Government Higher Secondary School daily, but it is not good enough for they all. It isn't brought on time,” a dad or mum mentioned.
“While the scholars have been in the old fashioned, they have been getting correct food. But now, they are deprived,” mentioned K Kathiresh, a dad or mum. TNN
