NEW DELHI: Overcast skies prevailed in the nationwide capital with very light rains being witnessed in some parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Thursday.
"The sky will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. There is possibility of light to moderate rains in the National Capital Territory," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official mentioned.
Traces of rainfall were recorded at Patparganj, Mayur Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Safdurjung, Noida and Greater Noida.
According to the mavens, thunderstorm accompanied with high gusty winds associated with western disturbance will fortify the air quality considerably to “average” by late Thursday.
“Hailstorm is most probably at isolated wallet. The most and minimum temperatures would be round 19 and 14 degree celsius respectively,” the Met official mentioned.
