Professor Bhoop selected for Best PU researcher award

CHANDIGARH: Dr Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, Professor on the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), and coordinator, UGC Centre for Excellence in Nano Biomedical Applications, at PU, has been selected for the most efficient PU researcher award and perfect e-newsletter award beneath the aegis of "Smt Prem Lata and Prof D V S Jain Research Foundation".


The award will probably be introduced by means of Professor Raj Kumar, vice-chancellor, Panjab University. Professor Bhoop may also make a presentation on his research work, sharing a fowl's eye view on his research work at the instance.


Acclaimed globally for his scientific work, esp. in the area of novel nanomedicines the use of QbD, Professor Bhoop has earned to his credit over 360 authentic publications, 15 books, 5 patents and tech-transfers of two nanostructured drug supply technologies to pharma business.


A broadly travelled scientist, he has already delivered just about 300 invited talks in India and in a foreign country, together with USA, Canada, UK, Germany, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Dubai and Bangladesh. He holds the unique difference of getting duly skilled several hundreds of business scientists beneath his direct guidance, esp. on QbD. He has handled 16 research initiatives fetching research grants of 6.10 crores from Government and company sectors, and guided/guiding just about 100 research students together with 31 doctoral, and 6 post-doctoral researchers.
