'Uri' collects Rs 200 crore

Debutant director Aditya Dhar's military drama ' Uri: The Surgical Strike' starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead roles smashed more information on its fifth Friday. The film outshined 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' to sign in the easiest assortment at the fifth Friday. The collections on Friday confirmed infrequently any drop from Thursday. 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' created history in its fourth week as it beat 'Baahubali - The Conclusion' in the case of collections to document the easiest fourth week choice of all time.

FYI, the film collected a total of Rs 71.23 crore at the field office in its first week. The second-week assortment stands at a total of Rs 62.76 crore. The film collected a total of Rs 37.06 crore at the field office on its 3rd week. The film collected an insane 29.30 crore in its fouth week.


The film is according to the surgical strikes performed on September 29, 2016, by the Indian Army on terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control. The strikes were performed in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri previous that month.


Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala. 'Uri' was once announced by the producer after twelve months of the surgical strike in September 2017. The film additionally stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina in lead roles.
