Rajkot: A lady from Rajkot has lodged a grievance under Domestic Violence (DV) Act against her London-based NRI husband and in-laws with additional leader judicial Justice of the Peace courtroom here.
Following the grievance, the courtroom has issued notices to the entire accused directing them to produce themselves before the courtroom.
According to case details, after Kinjal Dhamelia married Haresh Dhamelia, the couple moved to London. Kinjal alleged that she was once subjected to humiliation there and was once handled as a maid servant instead of spouse.
“Haresh dropped Kinjal again to India on December 12, 2018 and had saved her passport, Aadhar card, election card, college dwelling certificate and degree certificate with him. As he did not reply to Kinjal’s phone calls or e-mails and refused to go back her paperwork and certificate, Kinjal lodged the grievance,” mentioned Kinjal’s advocate Sanjay Pandit.
Apart from Haresh, Kinjal has accused her sweetheart's father Gordhan Dhamelia, better half's mother Samju Dhamelia, brother-in-law Rajesh Dhamelia, sister-in-law Harsha Dhamelia and newphew Harikrishna Moliya of domestic violence.
