16.52 lakh voters eligible to vote in Anand

Vadodara/ Anand: As the fashion code of conduct has come into effect, the district administration in Anand has issued orders to take away all banners and hoardings inside of 24 hours starting from Sunday.

A complete of 16,52,739 voters are eligible to exercise their voting proper in Anand Lok Sabha seat which accommodates of seven meeting constituencies including Khambhat, Borsad, Anklav, Umreth, Anand, Petlad and Sojitra.


“For ensuring unfastened and honest elections, teams for video surveillance, viewing teams, accounting group, flying squads, static surveillance teams were shaped,” mentioned Anand district election officer and collector Dilip Rana, including that voters will be able to exercise their voting proper at 1,846 polling stations in the district.


Of the total voters, eight,54,025 are male whilst 7,98,592 are female voters. A complete of 122 voters are indexed in 3rd gender.


Of the total electoral in Anand district, the maximum choice of voters are in Anand meeting constituency at 2.92 lakh whilst the least choice of voters are in Sojitra meeting constituency the place 2.06 lakh were registered as voters.
