Ahmednagar: Leopard stuck in 'jaw trap' rescued

NAVI MUMBAI: Wildlife activists and forest department staff rescued a three-year-old male stuck in a dangerous 'jaw entice' arrange via poachers in Jeur Haibati village in Ahmednagar district on Thursday.

On Thursday, Wildlife SOS team primarily based out of the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre in Junnar won a call from the forest department concerning the leopard.

Wildlife SOS senior veterinarian Dr Ajay Deshmukh carefully immobilised the large cat using a sedatives. Once the team administered the drug, they carefully got rid of the entice from the entrapped forelimb.
