CHRISTCHURCH: The Australian gunman charged with homicide for allegedly killing 50 other people in mass shootings at two New Zealand mosques plans to constitute himself, his court-appointed responsibility attorney stated Monday.
Brenton Tarrant was once charged with one count of homicide and seemed at Christchurch district courtroom on Saturday after the rampage all through Friday prayers.
Duty attorney Richard Peters, who represented him all through the preliminary courtroom listening to, instructed AFP the 28-year-old "indicated he does not want a lawyer".
"He wants to be self-represented in this case," Peters stated.
