AMBALA: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA)-2 of the district police on Monday arrested two individuals and recovered 340g heroin from their ownership.
The arrested individuals were identified as Kamal Singh and Nitesh Kumar, each citizens of Ambala Cantonment house.
The price of the seized contraband in world marketplace is ready Rs 10 lakh.
The accused were arrested from a bus prevent at GT Road close to Shahpur village following a tip-off. The accused individuals were travelling in a automobile and were coming from Delhi facet.
“On Tuesday, each the arrested accused were introduced before the courtroom which sent them to the police remand of 2 days. As consistent with the initial investigation, it's printed via the accused that they procured the contraband from Delhi. Further, our teams would interrogate about the supply,” CIA-2 in-charge inspector Ravi informed TOI.
