The Orissa Modern Art Gallery organised Art Era, an art exhibition within the town, where the art works of women artists have been exhibited. The exhibition was inaugurated on Thursday night and it'll continue till March 14. On the opening night, at the side of the exhibition, an art talk was also held where the ladies taking part on this were provide and so they shared their thoughts.
According to the organisers, the art works of 30 girls, together with professional artists and women running in other sectors, who paint as a interest, have been displayed. As many as 35 art works were showcased. “There are girls running within the IT sector or in other professions however they do art work out of passion. This exhibition has equipped a platform to they all. More importantly, there are talks held everyday where they speak on art and what motivates them to delight in such inventive activities,” stated Tarakant Parida, organiser of the development.
