PATNA: A 16-year-old lady was allegedly gang-raped and murdered in her area below the Masaurhi police station house in Patna district on Saturday.
The lady’s father has lodged an FIR with Mausarhi police station against 5 of his co-villagers, accusing them of raping and killing his daughter. All the 5 accused are absconding.
Patna SSP Garima Malik stated police have began an investigation into the incident. “We are waiting for the put up mortem record. The incident is being probed from several angles,” the SSP stated.
The lady’s father advised police that the incident occurred when he had long past to Masaurhi to drop his nephew. “My brother called me and stated no less than 15 villagers attacked our area and fled with several valuables. After returning house, I found my daughter lying lifeless on the flooring. My wife advised me that she was gang-raped and killed by the attackers,” the girl’s father wrote in his grievance.

SHO Sunil Kumar stated the motorbike belonged to 1 Raushan Kumar, who was enjoying Cricket within the floor.
“After Raushan and others raised an alarm, a patrolling automobile chased the thief and arrested him close to Ram Ghulam Chowk,” the SHO added.
