Celebs ask people to vote on PM's request

With the overall elections across the nook, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and inquiring for the Bollywood movie celebrities to lift voting awareness among people forward of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.
Ace filmmaker Karan Johar, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and song maestro AR Rahman had been the primary ones to answer the PM's request. Taking to Twitter, Akshay wrote, "Well said @narendramodi ji. The true hallmark of a democracy lies in people’s participation in the electoral process. Voting has to be a superhit prem katha between our nation and its voters :)"



Johar too answered with a nod and wrote "Honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi, we as a fraternity are dedicated to the cause of creating high voter awareness and will make sure every endeavour is made to communicate the power of voting for a solid and Democratic INDIA! Jai Hind!"




AR Rahman too wasn't some distance at the back of in replying to the PM as he spoke back announcing "We will ji ..Thank you."




PM Modi has asked several superstars like Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan, Deepika Padukone and plenty of others with a personalized message on social media.
