Editor of weekly found dead with head injuries in Bhiwandi, family raises suspicion

BHIWANDI: Two days after the editor of a weekly paper went missing, his body was once found lying in a creek in Bhiwandi. The the family members of the deceased, Nityanand Pandey, have expressed suspicion over what brought about his dying, the police stated.
When Pandey, who had left his Mira Road home on Friday night, didn't go back till the next morning, his family members lodged a missing particular person's criticism at Kashimira police station.

On Saturday afternoon, officials from Bhiwandi taluka police station received information about an unidentified particular person lying inside of a 15-foot-deep creek along the road. After the individual was once introduced out and declared useless, the body was once despatched to IGM Hospital in Bhiwandi. The police stated that Pandey had suffered head accidents.


The police relayed the information about the body to other police stations to check about any missing particular person proceedings. On Sunday, family members visited the medical institution in Bhiwandi and identified the deceased as Pandey. Senior inspector Sanjay Hajare stated that the body has been despatched to to the state-run JJ Hospital in Byculla for a autopsy.


"The family members of the deceased have raised suspicion over the cause of death... We expect to get some details from the post-mortem report," stated Hajare.
