BENGALURU: With the arrest of Syed Abubakkar Siddiqui, Chandra Layout police on Tuesday said they have solved no less than 57 circumstances of thefts throughout 28 police stations.
Siddiqui, 38, who even went to prison to scouse borrow two-wheelers, had followed a recent modus operandi — he robbed girls of gold ornaments via donning a police uniform and wielding a wi-fi handset which he stolen from a constable.
