RANCHI: The Jharkhand top court has granted bail to Father Alphonse Aind within the Khunti gang-rape case on the condition that he furnishes two sureties of Rs 25,000 each. The court additionally requested him to deposit a hard and fast amount of cash within the Army welfare fund.


Aind’s counsel, R S Mazumdar, stated Justice A B Singh granted the bail with different stipulations like now not leaving the district with out the court’s permission and surrendering his passport to the court.


The gang-rape case came about on June 19, 2018 when a group of ladies acting a streetplay near Kochang village.
