Haryana: 3 more arrested in Kurukshetra car robbery case

KURUKSHETRA: Police on Thursday arrested 3 more persons in reference to a case of auto theft close to Mangoli Jattan village on February 22.


The arrested accused were identified as Amit Thakur, Pradeep alias Prince and Nitesh.


According to the police, the accused had snatched car from a head constable posted as a reader of Barara DySP.


“So a ways six arrests were made on this case and the robbed car has been recovered from Avardhan canal close to Nandi village in Karnal. The accused had dumped the automobile after committing the crime to break the proof. We have also recovered the number plates of the automobile. The recoveries of some documents which have been within the car like ATMs, RC, and Arms used within the crime are yet to be made. On Friday, the accused have been introduced before the courtroom which has granted police remand for two-days and additional interrogation is being completed.”


On March 4, police had arrested 3 different accused Shubham alias Shubi, Sanjeev alias Numberdar and Akash alias Shubi who have been taken on a three-day police remand. The trio has been shifted to jail post interrogation.
