RAJKOT: A conflict broke out between police and native investors of Bardhan Chowk area of Jamnagar on Wednesday night time when they protested motion towards their automobiles parked out there.
According to the police, sub-inspector was on patrol in town’s Bardhan Chowk area. When he saw automobiles had been parked in a haphazard manner in front of retail outlets, he called a towing van. When the towning when began towing the automobiles from the street, one of the most investors objected. The police detained some investors who had been arguing fiercely and took them the close by Darbargadh police chowki.
However, within mins, a mob of investors gheraod the chowki.
To keep watch over the location, police resorted to lathi-charge.
“Immediately, I rushed to the spot, had a meeting with trade leaders and amicably solved the dispute, there is not any formal grievance. A DySP will probe the subject,” Jamnagar SP Sharad Singhal instructed TOI.
