Mangaluru: MLC urges election commission to take action against MP

MANGALURU: MLC Ivan D’Souza taking umbrage to a tweet by way of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel which he stated was once try to seek vote within the title of soldiers suggested the election fee to record a suo motu case against the him.

Ivan advised journalists on Wednesday that with the type code of habits getting into pressure on March 10, the tweet tantamounted to violation of the type code.

Nalin on March 11 had tweeted, “One must vote for a man who had ordered attack on enemy country at 3am and not for individuals who had knocked at the doors of the Supreme Court for a terrorist at 3am. #Modi again.”

The election fee will have to imagine it severely and start up motion, he stated reminding the BJP that protection of the rustic is not BJPs process on my own. Indian military also do not belong to the BJP. It is condemnable that BJP has stooped to this sort of low stage to seek votes,” he added.


Observing that routine administration has taken a back seat because the type code of habits was once announced, Ivan suggested the officers not to take undue good thing about the similar and inconvenience other people at large. Elections are part and parcel of any democratic set up and all different purposes of this democracy will have to go on usually, he stated, whilst urging the district administration to set up a unmarried window system for other people to seek permission for marriage, spiritual programmes and different social occasions within the district.
