MUMBAI: Here's your chance to sit down and gaze as lifestyles in the fast paced city rushes past. The city administration is in the procedure of installing stone cubes around Flora Fountain at Hutatma Chowk where you'll park your self leisurely amid all the humdrum of lifestyles.



This is part of the second one phase of restoration work at Flora Fountain. The idea is to let visitors sit down around and take in the attractions of the monument that depicts the Roman goddess Flora. The civic frame plans to wrap up the work by means of May 1-observed as Maharashtra Day-and throw it open to the general public.


While water started flowing out of Flora Fountain as soon as again from January 24 this 12 months, work on landscaping of the 10,000-sq.toes plaza around it is still to be completed. Civic officers have claimed that the restoration work is being accomplished alongside the traces of London's Trafalgar Square where visitors can sit down around leisurely.
