NAGPUR: A senior police inspector hooked up to the visitors division of town police may face fees for sending ‘objectionable’ messages to a feminine radio jockey, who used to be just requesting the telephone selection of the newly appointed DCP visitors Gajanan Rajmane. The incident came to fore when the radio jockey shared a screenshot of the dialog with the senior PI on her social media profile.
Commissioner of police BK Upadhyay said, “I have directed the DCP visitors to inquire into the matter thoroughly and take appropriate motion.”
It is learnt that soon after the allegations surfaced the officer in query used to be shifted to the control room from his present rate in East Nagpur.
The dialog shared online shows the RJ initially greeting the officer, following which the senior PI requested the RJ to hook up with him on video name. However, the RJ says it used to be not anything necessary to call on video, and she used to be just requesting the selection of the newly appointed DCP. Meanwhile, the senior officer sends a message to the RJ pronouncing, “Waiting for d most beautiful and lovely and clever and dynamic and multitasking and sensual woman,” and follows it up with, “just wish to see ur gorgeous face if imaginable.”
Speaking to TOI, the RJ said, “It is disgusting to receive such messages from a senior professional of the police division. The division has been promising us safety for woman and different electorate, on different hand such police officers are running there.”
“I had just known as him for professional paintings, to get the selection of the DCP visitors for a tale I was doing. But I was subjected to this messaging. I am going to battle it out because nobody can speak to me or any girl in such tone,” added the RJ.
It is also learnt that some Zonal DCPs have spoken to the RJ after staring at her publish, talking about ‘counselling’ the officer in query.
The senior PI is also learnt to were enthusiastic about several such instances earlier. When the officer used to be posted in the Local Crime Branch (LCB) of rural police, he came below fireplace after sending messages to a senior zilla parishad officer past due in the night time. In that period, the then SP used to be additionally disenchanted with the behaviour of the officer after he allegedly made advances in opposition to rescued sufferers of an interstate intercourse racket busted via the police.
