UP Board: 689 students skip exam on Day One

Kanpur: As many as 689 students skipped the UP Board examination at the first day at more than a few centres within the city on Thursday.
Around 29 students had been absent within the morning consultation during which track, singing paper of High School was once held. Only, 448 seemed within the assessments. Similarly, around 660 students had been absent in morning and night periods of Intermediate.

In morning consultation, paper of picket, book-craft and stitching was once held and within the night consultation, papers of schooling and psychology had been scheduled, in keeping with district inspector of faculties.

Around 5,249 examinees seemed in Intermediate examinations in each periods.

The DIoS stated around 1,04,355 students are showing within the examinations within the city, out of which 56,166 are of HS. Remaining 48,189 are of Intermediate.


He stated the Board has fastened as many as 141 examination centres of which three had been termed as most delicate, while 23 had been placed beneath the delicate category.


The district government have deputed 11 zonal magistrates and 17 sector magistrates for copying-free examinations. Besides, 130 observers, six flying squads and as many as 6,972 invigilators had been deployed.


Three static magistrates have be deputed on the most delicate centres, he added.
