AGRA/LUCKNOW: Calling the 48-hour ban on BSP supremo Mayawati unjustified, her nephew Akash Anand, in his first speech at a rally, appealed to citizens to provide a befitting reply to the Election Commission through making sure a win of the grand opposition alliance within the polls.


Standing in for his aunt at the rally of the SP-BSP-RLD alliance at Kothi Meena Bazar floor here, the 24-year-old read out his speech like his aunt, at the same time as he made makes an attempt to enthuse the crowd through repeating his statements and pausing to allow the crowd to react. Like Mayawati, he started and ended his speech with the mantra of ‘Jai Bhim’. Seeking make stronger for alliance applicants, Akash stated: “Today, you have come here in such large numbers on the appeal of my buaji. I am thankful to all of you. I have come prior to you for the primary time with an appeal. Make alliance applicants win and this shall be a befitting reply to the Election Commission.”



Akash has been accompanying Mayawati at public rallies and occasions since 2016, but that is for the primary time that 24-year-old Aakash spoke at a rally. He was seated but even so RLD chief Ajit Singh whilst BSP normal secretary Satish Chandra Mishra took the chair subsequent to Akhilesh.

RLD’s Kunwar Narendra Singh is contesting from Mathura. Sharma, who was also provide within the rally, alleged that BJP was in the back of this ban as they were afraid of the ability of the alliance.
