Abused Vastrapur woman files plaint against hubby

A 40-year-old lady dwelling in Vastrapur house, on Wednesday, filed a home violence complaint against her husband who works as a regional supervisor in an insurance corporate in the city. She alleged that he would beat her on suspicion that she had an affair with another person.

According to the complaint, the lady were given married to a Delhi-based man in 2008. The couple have three children, two sons and one daughter. The first year after marriage was once normal and peaceful, after which her husband were given transferred to Surat, she mentioned in the complaint. A bit later, she joined him in Surat. However, soon thereafter her husband began to feel suspicious about her. Things deteriorated to such an extent that he did not permit her to interact with even the neighbours.

Subsequently, he were given transferred to Chandigarh and the couple moved there and lived there for three years. The lady said her husband persisted to be suspicious of her and beat her and barred her from leaving home.

According to the complainant, after lengthy she informed her oldsters of the agony she was once going via. Her oldsters and her brother however informed her to continue in the marriage to which she agreed, she said.

In 2018, the lady and her children came to live together with her husband at their space in Vastrapur. The man didn't let her meet any one, she alleged, and beat her up if he found someone from the neighbourhood speaking to her. She then filed a complaint at the Mahila Police Station in Ahmedabad however took her complaint again in a bid to save the wedding.

On Tuesday, April 23, her husband went out with two of their children in the night and returned simplest at 10.30 pm. She said in the complaint that she informed him he should not have kept the youngsters out until so overdue once they hadn't even had dinner. To this, her husband were given furious and started beating her. The lady's screams attracted attention of a neighbour who came running to house and stored her while some other neighbour knowledgeable the police.

The subsequent day she registered a complaint at Vastrapur police station in the afternoon.

Vastrapur police inspector M M Jadeja said, "We have arrested the man and will file a charge sheet in the court. The woman and her husband had some issues for around six months with the husband getting suspicious over her visit to neighbours. He used to beat her. Normally in such cases we try to get the couple to sit across and sort out their issues, but in this case it didn't happen."

Police assets said the man suspects his wife of having an affair with a neighbour who first of all known as the police.
