VADODARA: The anti-corruption bureau (ACB) arrested 3 individuals together with two police constables of Karjan on Tuesday at a resort on national highway-48 near Karjan.
The two law enforcement officials recognized as Sanjay Machhi and Vikram Kaptan had nabbed the complainant along with his truck at the toll plaza near Karjan on Monday. ACB resources said that the complainant didn't ask the two law enforcement officials to be lenient with him but they and another person Sandeep Bhat demanded Rs 30,000 from him.
The complainant gave Rs 10,000 to the trio and requested them to permit him to pay last amount either on Tuesday or Wednesday as he didn't have the more cash. The complainant then approached ACB and informed about the demand of the money. ACB officials determined to nab the 3 accused by laying a entice consistent with which the complainant requested the 3 accused to satisfy him at Moti Mahal Hotel on Tuesday evening.
As the complainant gave Rs 20,000 money to the trio, ACB officials nabbed them.
