Allahabad division of NCR to install 23 more AVTM

ALLAHABAD: Allahabad division of the North Central Railways (NCR) would quickly be completing the set up work of 23 Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (AVTM) at various stations of the division. Of those, 9 AVTM have been installed at Allahabad Junction alone.

Public relation officer (PRO) of Allahabad division SK Gupta stated that those would be in addition to 62 AVTM that experience already been working at several of the station of the division.

Among those, 9 AVTM are being installed at Allahabad,five at Kanpur Central, one each and every at Subedarganj, Khurja and Shankargarh and two each and every at Kanpur Anwarganj, Naini and Allahabad Cheoki.

The 62 AVTM which have been already been installed come with Chunar (2), Mirzapur (three), Vindhyachal (2), Manda Road (1), Allahabad Cheoki (2), Naini (2), Bharwari (1), Sirathu (1), Fatehpur (three), Kanpur Central (6), Govindpuri (2) and others.

“There would be facilitators with those machines who would information the passengers in getting the price tag in a short span of time, getting rid of long queues,” stated Gupta.
