THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The two-day celebrations of the 146th start anniversary of poet Kumaranasan, arranged by means of Kumaranasan National Institute of Culture, will commence from Thursday at the institute at Thonakkal. The lawsuits will kick off with Kerala University registrar C R Prasad inaugurating a symposium on Kumaranasan’s renowned work ‘Chinthavishtayaaya Sita,’ at 2.30pm .
Institute chairman V Madhusoodhanan Nair will preside over the function and poet and academic Deshamangalam Ramakrishnan will ship the keynote cope with. Asan Smrithi cultural conference shall be inaugurated by means of author George Onakkoor at 5pm, which shall be adopted up by means of cultural events.

“The poetry pageant is open to all and shall be contested in four classes — LP, UP, HS and seniors,” he stated.
