Body exhumed for autopsy after wife files complaint

RANCHI: The frame of 40-year-old Anwarul Haque from Badgain area here was once exhumed and despatched for autopsy on Sunday after his wife filed a criticism, terming his demise as mysterious.
Shama Parveen, wife of the deceased, approached Ranchi SSP Anish Kumar Gupta with a request to analyze her husband’s mysterious demise, following which the frame was once exhumed 10 days after the burial.

Haque was once discovered subconscious below mysterious instances on his residential compound at the intervening night of April 10 and 11. He was once soon taken to the health facility however the medical doctors there declared him brought useless.

Parveen informed TOI: “I had gone to my in-laws’ area on April 10 as my husband wanted to discuss with his parents’ area to resolve some monetary irregularities in his joint funding which he had along with his brothers. As we had reached late, we decided to retire. When I aroused from sleep the following morning, I couldn’t to find him anywhere. My daughter spotted him subconscious within the backyard of our area close to a drainage. We took him to health facility, where he was once declared brought useless.”


She added that there are probabilities that his husband was once murdered over the monetary issues.


A police staff from sadar police station exhumed the frame and despatched it to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) for post-mortem after which the frame was once again despatched for burial.


Speaking to TOI, station in-charge of sadar police station, Venkatesh Kumar, mentioned: “We have registered a case towards unidentified persons below Section 302 of IPC. Further investigations shall be carried out in accordance with the findings of the post-mortem document.”
