A total of 5 elderly other folks died of cardiac arrest at other polling stations in Erode, Salem, Madurai and Vellore districts on Thursday.
Murugesan, 60, of Sivagiri in Erode Lok Sabha constituency, collapsed whilst ready in queue to vote and was once given first-aid, taken to health center, where he was once declared brought lifeless. Krishnan, 75, of Omalur in Salem Lok Sabha constituency; Chandra Bose, 68, of Shanmuga Nagar in Annadhanapatty in Salem city and Muthupillai, an octogenarian woman voter, of Duraisamipuram Pudur, in Usilampatti in Madurai district collapsed and died proper after casting their votes. Doctors said they died of cardiac arrest.
Thulasiammal, 80, who was once ready in a queue to cast her vote at a polling station at Anadhalai village in Arakkonam Parliamentary constituency collapsed to cardiac arrest. The woman who was once rushed to a nearby health center declared brought lifeless.
