Jaipur: Four teenagers drowned in their village pond in Bagru near Jaipur whilst swimming on Monday. Police recovered the our bodies and the autopsy was once conducted. All the boys have been aged between 15 to 18 years.
The incident came about in Bagru village on the outskirts of Jaipur and the boys drowned whilst looking to save each other in a man-made pond, claimed police officers.
The deceased have been known as Prakash Gurjar (16), Roshan Gurjar (16), Kamal Gurjar (16) and Vikas Gurjar (15). While the first 3 have been from Nayabas village, Vikas was once from Sirsi. All 4 of them belonged to the same circle of relatives and have been cousins.
Reportedly, they have been going to Bagru for an outing round forenoon when they made up our minds to move for a swim in a man-made pond at Kodar village. Divers fished out the our bodies of the boys from the pond, which was once roughly 20feet deep and surrounded by farmland.
Vikas Sharma, DCP, Jaipur West, elaborating on the accident, stated, “apparently that the 4 teenagers did not understand how to swim and had tied a rope to stick afloat within the water. Unfortunately, the rope broke and all 4 drowned whilst looking to save each other. All the boys have been school-going students.”
Following the autopsy on Monday, the our bodies of the boys have been passed over to the households, who have been inconsolable.
Raj Singh Beniwal, circle officer, Vaishali Nagar, added, “the pond was once in a secluded area and there was once nobody to lend a hand or rescue the boys. A village woman passing throughout the area spotted the bikes ridden by the boys to the pond in addition to their clothes however could not see any individual. She instantly alerted the locals who knowledgeable the local police. The our bodies have been taken out within the afternoon.”
A case has been registered underneath Section 174 (investigation of unnatural deaths) of the CrPC, police stated.
