MANGALURU: The Mangaluru City Police overdue on Sunday arrested 8 folks in connection with the conflict that ensued at Madani Nagar beneath Ullal police station limits, a few hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally within the city.
Sandeep Patil, police commissioner, told IdealNews that passengers from two vehicles – a Honda City comprising a group of pals and the other, a Maruti Alto comprising BJP supporters who had been on their long ago home from the rally – got into an altercation somewhere on the highway between Mangaluru and Ullal.
