JALANDHAR: Vigilance Bureau(VB) on Friday arrested a Hoshiarpur based assistant commissioner Sales Tax (GST) Mobile Wing and a Tanda based chartered accountant once they have been accepting bribe of Rs two lakh from a marriage palace proprietor. According to VB the CA used to be running as a conduit for the assistant commissioner.
VB SSP Diljinder Singh Dhillon mentioned that Tanda based Tara Singh, who owns White House Resort in the the city, had complained that on February 28 this 12 months GST division raided his status quo and after examining the information also seized some account books.
