RAJKOT: Venting ire against water provide lower of their house, about 200 girls led by Congress leaders smashed their earthen pots at the highway in front of ward number 12 of Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Saturday. They also held a highway block.
The girls had been led by Congress corporators — Vijay Vank and Sanjay Ajudia. The girls shouted “pani aapo, pani aapo” (give us water) and staged a highway block. Eventually, the women known as off their agitation after the RMC engineers arrived at the spot and assured them that their downside would be solved quickly.
“The girls from Riddhi Siddhi Society, Vrundavan Society, Dwarkadheesh Society and Jaljit Society of the RMC ward number 12 have been getting irregular water provide. The scorching summer time warmth has most effective compounded their miseries,” stated Vank.
“As the citizens of the RMC ward number 12 have elected Congress corporators, the ruling BJP of the RMC is taking revenge against them by giving them irregular water provide,” alleged Ajudia.
