Thiruvananthapuram: Three students, together with two brothers, drowned in Kallada river at Enath in Pathanamthitta district on Monday. The deceased had been identified as Nazim (15) and Ajmal (19)—sons of Nazar of Kannamthundil— and their relative Niyaz (15).
The incident happened at Thengampuzhakkadavu, underneath the Enathu police station limits round 12:30pm. Nazim, Niyaz and some other boy made up our minds to take a dip in the river. While Nazim and Niyaz ventured into the river, the third boy stayed again.
