SURAT: Some parts of South Gujarat recorded unseasonal rain on Sunday night and Monday morning. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted unseasonal rain in the area for another few days. Farmers concern harm to their plants, in particular mangoes, by means of the unseasonal rain.
Cloudy setting with top humidity greeted other folks of the town on Monday, with mercury touching 39.4 degree Celsius. People had been drenched in sweat on account of humidity which was once round 27 in line with cent.
Parts of Vyara, Songadh and Nizar in Tapi district and interiors of Dang district recorded rain which introduced the temperature down.
Dinesh Pataliya, assistant director of horticulture, Gujarat Government, said, “The rainfall in Surat district was once not a lot. However, the rain will purpose harm to vegetables and mango crop.”
IMD officers said temperature will hover round 37-39 degree Celsius for the following 5 days. There can be cloudy climate in the area throughout this period.
