UP: 2 women killed after being run over by train

AGRA: A lady and her spouse's mother were killed after they were run over by way of a dashing train in UP's Mathura district.


The victims were identified as Bhuri Devi (25) and Ramdai (60), residents of Radhakund underneath Govardhan police jurisdiction. According to police, the two came underneath the train close to Padal house at around 8am.


Speaking to TOI, station house officer (SHO) of Govardhan Rajesh Kumar Pandey said, “The two ladies have been employed as labourers to reap wheat and they were heading for the job. On the best way, they were run over by way of a Jaipur-bound passenger train while crossing a railway monitor.”


Meanwhile, a truck turned turtle on a railway monitor in Mathura’s Raya house. According to police, the driving force and his aide were injured within the twist of fate. “The truck used to be hit by way of some other heavy automobile while it used to be on the right way to Mathura from Aligarh. The driver lost keep watch over of the truck and rammed into a barricade which separated the railway monitor and the freeway,” said a police professional.


Train motion used to be not on time for nearly two hours, as a crane got rid of the toppled truck.
