A Mandi Gobindgarh-based dealer has accused officials of the Punjab excise and taxation department of extorting cash for “election fund”. Guru Traders’ Sukhwinder Singh has also lodged a grievance with Punjab’s chief electoral officer (CEO) S Karuna Raju, who has in turn ordered an inquiry.
