IPL SCHEDULE

Harbhajan, fondly known as 'Turbanator' amongst fanatics, completed the feat during CSK's Qualifier 2 clash towards Delhi Capitals at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Harbhajan, who had 148 wickets to his title ahead of the Delhi Capitals clash, removed Shikhar Dhawan (18) and Sherfane Rutherford (10) to the touch the 150-wicket mark.

Delhi Capitals' Amit Mishra (157 wickets in 147 fits) and Kolkata Knight Riders' Piyush Chawla (150 wickets in 157 fits) are the two different Indians who have 150 and extra wickets under their belts.

Overall, Harbhajan is the 3rd absolute best wicket-taker in the event historical past.

With 169 wickets in 121 fits, Mumbai Indians' Lasith Malinga is on most sensible of the total tally.

"This is a different format from the ones I have played in the past, and I have 150 odd wickets in this format, which is very satisfying," Harbhajan mentioned after CSK limited DC to 147/9.

"This year I have got a lot of wickets, mainly because we played in Chennai which suited spinners a bit more. I bowled a lot of overs in the powerlay which is really tough in IPL, but if there is something in the wicket, then Dhoni wanted me to bowl in the powerplay and pick quick wickets," the veteran spinner mentioned.
