Around 12.30am that evening, a few police officers at a police outpost in Sector 126, Greater Noida, noticed a person wearing a black T-shirt and Bermuda shorts riding a yellow Apache bike, with the hooter and the blue beacon on. The guy had stolen the bike from Preet Vihar police station. Police said the accused, a resident of Chandigarh, was "mentally unstable".
