Picture of a woman on pyre, signifying ‘Sati’, on a Class VIII English textbook added via former BJP government has been removed via the revision committee formed via the existing Congress government in Rajasthan. The textbook cover now has picture of a hill fortress. State schooling minister called the featuring of ‘Sati’ at the e-book’s cover page as illegal & unlawful.
