SDM ITI, Venue receives special recognition under STRIVE project

MANGALURU: SDM ITI, Venur has won special reputation from union government through Skill Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) undertaking of talent construction ministry. Under this, the ITI has won grant of Rs 2 crore reserved for talent construction methods which is to be allocated for talent construction methods, extension activities, upper usual of coaching and implementation of higher equipment in the faculty.


SDM ITI is the one institute from Karnataka among the 193 nationwide establishments recognised under the STRIVE undertaking by means of the federal government. The institute presented itself and proved its value for the grant through different stages of selection, thus making sure that the scholars avail better chance at talent construction and higher alternatives. The ITI was once established in 1986 with nine classes together with electrician and motor car mechanic.


Students avail professional hands-on training on the institute, thus enabling them to enter professional zone with easiest alternatives in the box; maximum facilitated by means of the institute itself. Companies that arrive for placement at SDM ITI come with Toyota, Tata, L and T, Volvo and different nationwide/global corporations. ITI has signed MoUs with likes of Toyota, Tata and BOSCH, that have contributed by means of enforcing actual equipment on the institute.
