Villagers dwelling close to the Mulliyaru river close to Thiruthuraipoondi in the district were in for a shock on Thursday when they discovered undelivered Aadhaar cards numbering around 2,000 dumped on the river mattress. What surprised them was once that lots of them could actually recuperate their own cards after rummaging through the heap.
