Panic prevailed at a hotel in Robertsganj in Sonbhadra district on Saturday when a youth began indiscriminate firing. The Sonbhadra SP Salmantaj Jafertaj Patil narrowly escaped the firing. After a high drama of about one and a part hour, the police succeeded in overpowering him. Police investigation is underway.
