Senior CPM leader from Dakshina Kannada district, B Madhava, is not more. He used to be 81. Hailing from Balluri in Kasaragod district, Madhava, a legislation graduate labored in the Life Insurance Corporation of India at Mumbai, Udupi and Mangaluru, and took active section in the All India Insurance Employees Association. He used to be instrumental in setting up LIC staff, and thus concerned himself actively of their welfare across India.
