Delhi University Entrance Exams 2019 to be held from June 30 to July 6

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University will dangle its front tests for postgraduate, MPhil, PhD and 9 undergraduate lessons from June 30 to July 6, officers stated Thursday. This 12 months, the National Testing Agency (NTA) might be engaging in the entrance tests for the first time.

There are 11 undergraduate lessons, for which front tests might be taking place, but for music and bodily schooling, the assessments might be performed internally through the varsity, the officers stated.


For undergraduate lessons, admissions might be made based on marks scored in the front take a look at and sophistication 12 examination.

Entrance assessments might be performed in centres located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi (NCR contains Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad), Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Trivandrum and Varanasi for postgraduate lessons.

The dates of the entrance tests for the respective lessons might be announced on Friday.


The tests will happen in 3 classes per day and CCTV cameras might be placed at the entire centres.


The two-hour written front examination will encompass a couple of selection questions (MCQs) (4 choices each) designed to evaluate the potential of applicants through spaces as related to each subject.


There might be 100 questions and each proper resolution will get a score of plus 4 marks, each unsuitable resolution will get minus one mark and a query left unanswered will get zero marks.


The solutions to the query paper might be uploaded inside 24 hours and 48 hours might be given for airing any roughly criticism or challenge in the solutions, he stated.
