Bombay high court docket on Wednesday admitted a number of petitions filed by way of six other hookah parlours, one from Mumbai and five from Pune, who have puzzled the validity of a ban that the state imposed on hookah bars closing year. Suneet Chhada from Mumbai, Carnival Restaurant from Koregaon Park in Pune and others challenged the constitutional validity of an October amendment by way of the state to the central law governing use of tobacco.
