When drones delivered TOI to readers

Aerial path: The Times of India on Wednesday launched an initiative via and for technologists, referred to as Times Techies, in Bengaluru & Hyderabad. The edition containing the special web page was delivered via drones to the houses of a few of Bengaluru’s renowned tech marketers — Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murthy, Happiest Minds founder Ashok Soota, Swiggy co-founder Rahul Jaimini and InMobi co-founder Naveen Tewari.

The weekly web page focuses on rising applied sciences like AI, machine finding out, IoT, blockchain, cloud, and robot procedure automation.

Ashok Soota, founder, Happiest Minds: We are within the digital generation and all exchange is being pushed via the rapid advent of many new applied sciences. Hence, it’s important for us to be up to date and I’m happy that the primary edition contains synthetic intelligence. In the future editions, I hope to see long-term more moderen growing applied sciences like quantum computing and robotics.
