Treat yourself with a dose of classical dance with Parikrama, a festival being organised by means of Kalavardhini Charitable Trust with the primary purpose of supporting and promoting allied arts. The two-day dance festival will see veteran dancers of these days and day after today appearing underneath one roof.
Besides Bharatnatyam, the festival brings together the most productive of different classical dance kinds. Bharatnatyam artist Arundhati Patwardhan says, "This will be the ninth edition of Parikrama. The platform has not only gained audience appreciation and has also helped increase public awareness about various performing arts."

- A Kathak performance by means of Shinjini Kulkarni, grand-daughter of Pandit Birju Maharaj
- New choreography by means of Kalavardhini Sankul
- Bharatnatyam performance by means of Meenakshi Srinivasan, who is known for her shifting abhinaya and purity in dance methodology
October 29
- Samvaad, a symposium. Writer, journalist and dramatist Gowri Ramnarayan, and dance historian Ashish Khokar will discuss topics comparable to bounce.
- A last Kathak performance by means of Maneesha Sathe and a Bharatnatyam performance by means of Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Dr Sucheta Bhide Chapekar
