Dera chief verdict: Prohibitory orders in 11 Delhi districts till September 8

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has implemented prohibitory orders in 11 districts within the capital, to be in power until September 8, following standard violence in Punjab, Haryana and in different places which has claimed the lives of a minimum of 30 folks. This comes within the wake of Dera Sacha Sauda leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim being found accountable in a rape case.

Meanwhile, Delhi police commissioner Amulya Patnaik has appealed to all to handle peace. "Appeal to all to maintain peace & order. #DelhiPolice on full alert. Strict legal action will be taken against miscreants for any violation," he tweeted.
