NEW DELHI: The Indian junior males's hockey team pummeled a hapless USA 22-0 in a one-sided contest to file their 3rd successive win of the Sultan of Johor Cup 2017 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia on Wednesday.
For India 4 gamers - Vishal Antil, Dilpreet Singh, Harmanjit Singh and Abhishek - scored a hat-trick every. While Harmanjit top-scored for India with 5 objectives, Abhishek followed with 4 objectives whilst Vishal and Dipreet every sounded the board three times. Maninder Singh struck twice and Pratap Lakra, Rabichandra Moirangthem, Raushan Kumar, Shilanand Lakra and Vivek Prasad scored a function every.
There have been 10 different goalscorers from India but their warring parties USA failed to attain even once, succumbing to a humiliating defeat.
Before the huge defeat to India, USA lost to Australia 0-19 and Great Britain received 0-11 in their first two suits. In 3 suits thus far, they've conceded a whopping 52 objectives without scoring one.
