HYDERABAD: In a last-minute bonanza to tip the scales on eve of key Singareni industry union polls, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government issued an order to regularize 'occupied' lands in Yellendu the town in Kothagudem district. Government land parcels were in possession of a few Singareni colliery employees since 1980 and they have got been demanding regularization. There are at least 4,000 programs pending sooner than the state government and special chief secretary B R Meena issued an order on Wednesday, allowing regularisation.
The transfer will give a push to TRS-affiliated industry union Telangana Boggu Ghani Karimka Sangham (TBGKS).
